Ford Mustang FT 402

This special vehicle first made its debut on the turntable in Ford's display at the 2002 Pacific International Auto and Light Truck Show in Vancouver, Canada as the Mustang FT470. It has since been re-named the FT-402 and has toured the North American auto show circuit, and appeared in the Siemens VDO booth at the 2002 SEMA show.

The Mustang FT-402 was commissioned by the Ford Motor Company as a design study to demonstrate the aftermarket potential for their vehicles. Some of the features of this car include: navigation and instrumentation from VDO, a new high output supercharging system from Vortech, and a 322mm 4-piston monobloc braking system from Hyperformance.
